MeMeA@TU/e, Diversity and inclusion in Engineering
The symposium is co-sponsored by the IMS Society and will be held at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) right after the closure of the IEEE MeMeA conference. The symposium will feature short presentations from different departments and research groups of the TU/e in the domain of Medical Measurements and Applications. It will provide the opportunity to learn about the ongoing research activities at the TU/e, exchange ideas, and establish new collaborations, with emphasis on the challenges for building an academic career in engineering from researchers with a diverse background. A closing reception will follow the presentations and favor networking and discussions, with the aim of inspiring dialogue, collaboration, and actionable strategies to promote greater diversity and inclusion in engineering and in instrumentation and measurement, as well as attracting new members and increasing awareness on the activities of the IEEE IMS. You are all very welcome to join!
